Security and Compliance Manager
The Security and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing security and compliance activities across IDS contracts. The Manager will develop, implement and maintain contract and IDS requirements and possess a clear understanding of investigative and compliance functions. They are responsible for the management, creation and tracking of IDS and Customer credentials and other aspects of security process. The Manager provides oversight to the Document Control staff at the IDS Headquarters as well as case material management across the business. This position is located in the IDS Ft. Worth, TX headquarters office.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the creation, tracking, collection and maintenance of IDS and customer credentials
- Lead the document control team overseeing case material collection, retention, digitization (scanning) and destruction following contract requirements.
- Provide guidance and feedback to program managers and investigators regarding case material handling.
- Lead the security controls of the IDS headquarters office to include oversight of the doors in to and out of the secure space, visitor badging and knowledge of cleared personnel.
- Prepare and compile summary reports for the Leadership team.
- Staffing, team morale, attrition management, timecards, and any other staff requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises employees within the Security and Compliance department(s).
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- STANDARDS AND MEASUREMENTS:
- Maintain timeliness and quality requirements.
- Complete timely reports to executive branch regarding quality assurance and security initiatives that outline areas of need, positive feedback, etc.
- Ensure all Compliance and Security functions are carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner and in compliance with contract requirements.
- Support and encourage growth for the business.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience as federal contract personnel security specialist to include knowledge of DISS and NBIS.
- Basic knowledge of government material handling equivalent to PII or CIU
- Basic knowledge of document scanning systems
- Computer skills required: (Select all applicable: Microsoft Office Suite; Scanning Software)
- Successful completion of federal background investigation required, current top-secret eligibility highly preferred.
- Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000
