Site Inspector

The Site Inspector/Investigative Technician will conduct the site verification and screening process according to Medicare guidelines to prevent questionable providers and suppliers from enrolling in the Medicare program, focusing on providing a quality report in a timely manner to the IDS customer. Duties may also include conducting record checks and telephone interviews with sources, as well as reviewing credit reports, Motor Vehicle Reports, criminal history checks and other relevant records in accordance with Federal Credit Reporting Act guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsibilities of Site Inspectors/Investigative Technicians Include:
- Visiting provider locations
- Taking photographs of the locations visited
- Communicating with providers
- Writing clear concise reports that document the findings
- Providing any required edits or additional information within 48 hours of request
- Monitoring pending assignments to ensure compliance with due dates
- Perform several screening verifications, including employment, reference checks and other relevant verifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management

- Ability to manage case load and meet customer required deadlines
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Exceptional telephone and in person etiquette
- Compliance with FCRA guidelines
- Willingness to engage and become educated in new topics and business
